The Arosa Gay Ski Week (AGSW) is a queer-friendly event in Arosa where skiing, socializing, and good food are at the heart of the experience. It brings together an international community to enjoy the mountains, create connections, and celebrate diversity.

By purchasing an Event Pass, ticket, or by participating in any AGSW-organized activity, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this Code of Conduct.

This Code defines the minimum expected standards of behavior for all guests, team members, and participants. It ensures compliance with Swiss law, promotes respectful conduct, and helps maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone involved.

1. Legal Compliance

All participants must comply with Swiss law and applicable regulations, including but not limited to:
• Prevention of sexual misconduct

• Prohibition of harassment, assault, or intimidating behavior
• Compliance with alcohol and substance regulations
• Respect for property and prevention of theft or damage

2. Respect and Care

We treat all participants, staff members, and local partners with respect.
We value the hospitality of the Arosa community and expect everyone to behave in a way that does not negatively impact residents, businesses, or the environment.

3. Mutual Respect and Inclusion

We are committed to a respectful, inclusive, and welcoming environment. This means:
• Supporting one another
• Ensuring all participants feel safe and respected
• Rejecting discrimination based on gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, religion, disability, age, or any other characteristic
• Using inclusive and respectful language at all times

4. Consent and Personal Boundaries

Consent is mandatory, ongoing, and can be withdrawn at any time.

All participants must:
• Respect personal boundaries and physical space
• Never pressure anyone into unwanted physical contact, conversations, or activities
• Understand that intoxication never constitutes consent

5. Safety and Well-being

We prioritize the well-being of everyone involved by:
• Looking out for one another and intervening when someone appears to be in distress
• Reporting safety concerns immediately to the AGSW team
• Consuming alcohol responsibly and avoiding illegal substances
• Following all ski safety rules and resort regulations

6. Reporting and Accountability

Any violation of this Code of Conduct must be reported to the AGSW core team.
• All reports will be treated seriously and handled confidentially
• Legal violations must be reported to the appropriate authorities
• AGSW will support affected individuals throughout the reporting process

7. Social Media and Photography

We respect personal privacy by:
• Asking for consent before taking photos or videos
• Being mindful of what is shared online
• Not publishing personal information without permission

8. Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to protecting the natural environment of Arosa by:
• Disposing of waste properly
• Respecting wildlife and protected areas
• Staying within designated ski areas and trails

Consequences of Non-Compliance

Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct will result in immediate and non-refundable exclusion from AGSW events and activities.

Depending on the severity of the violation, additional measures may include:
• Exclusion from future editions of AGSW
• A temporary ban of up to three years
• A permanent ban in cases of serious misconduct
• Reporting to Swiss authorities, which may result in legal action
